Wellbeing Spaces

Spaces are now available in Coffman Memorial Union and the St. Paul Student Center for students who wish to engage in wellbeing practices, such as private telehealth appointments, relaxation, meditation, prayer, or other needs that require a quiet, private space.

During the academic year, spaces are open for reservations in Coffman Memorial Union (CMU) and St. Paul Student Center (SPSC) between 8:00am and 3:00pm. Learn more and reserve a space. Resources available in the space include coloring supplies, puzzles, and other de-stress toys.

Students are only guaranteed the space once they have submitted the booking form.

Space Guidelines

  • Bookings are available to currently registered University of Minnesota students.
  • You can book up to 90 minutes in the wellbeing spaces
  • Check in at the Welcome Desk no more than 10 minutes before your confirmed booking time. The Welcome Desk staff will open the space for you.
  • Leave the space promptly at the end of your booked time, to ensure an easy transition to the next user.
  • Please leave the room the way you found it. In CMU room 301 has an open floor and Rooms 302, 304, and 305 are set up with tables and chairs. In SPSC room 108 is a large conference table, please ensure all chairs are returned around the table.
  • A small inventory of puzzles and stress relief toys are available for use in the room.
